Don't you find that every wedding has the same rules for the bride and groom kissing? No one seems to like the tapping of the wineglasses, so most opt for singing a song about love! Doesn't the first song ALWAYS seem to be the theme song from "Married with Children?" Singing love and marriage? It usually appears that the bride and groom kiss, because the friends have embarrassed themselves so now it is their turn.

Here are a list of games that you can use to be ORIGINAL!!

This first example came from the Wedding of my sister Samantha!

1. Each table was named by a virtue of a successful marriage! patience, love, hope, trust, respect, kindness, thoughtfullness.

If you wanted the bride and groom to kiss - you had to look at the name of YOUR table and go to the podium and tell a story that related to the virtue of your table and how it applied to the bride and groom. Not only did you learn about the courtship of the bride and groom, you also got to hear some wonderful examples of their relationship, and when they kissed- they truly meant it!

2. Set up a miniature golf course near the head table (1 Hole). The participants must get a hole in one in order for the bride and groom to kiss.

3. Have a group of balloons beside the head table in an arrangement. Inside each balloon place a slip of paper with a question on it like - Where did the bride & groom meet? You can also put a clue on it. Someone should have the official answers..(The Best Man?). One person from the table pops the balloon and if the table can answer the question correctly, then the bride and groom kiss. If not, they don't.

4. Have balloons as centerpieces. Inside the balloons have instructions as to certain ridiculous actions that the whole table must perform.

5. Have balloons as centerpieces or envelopes on the table, Inside on a piece of paper, quote a famous lyric from a piece of music. The table must quote the correct name of the song to get the bride and groom to kiss. If they are wrong you may let them try again until they get it right.

6. YOU KISS FIRST. Since it is your first day as husband and wife, you may need some lessons on how to kiss, so in order to help you learn, another couple must first go up in front of the head table and demonstrate how it's done.

7. ICEBREAKER - SHARE THE WORK. Instead of having the bride and groom kiss all the time, have all the couples names that are in attendance in a jar, have the bride and groom draw a couples name and have that couple kiss use only couples...what happens if you pull out 2 men's names? Or a couple that is no longer together?

8. DONATION OF MONEY TO A CHARITY - Select your favorite charity. If the crowd wants you to kiss, they have to make a donation (the bigger the donation the better and longer the kiss).
